A pre-school nursery is a vibrant early years setting designed for children aged 3 to 5 years, blending nurturing care with structured learning to prepare little ones for primary school. It’s where curiosity meets community—and where toddlers begin to stretch their wings.
What Makes a Pre-School Nursery Unique?
- School readiness focus: Activities often include phonics, early writing, and number games to build foundational academic skills.
- Structured sessions: Many follow a school-like routine with morning or afternoon blocks, helping children adjust to future classroom expectations.
- Social development: Group play, turn-taking, and collaborative tasks foster empathy, communication, and confidence.
- Qualified educators: Staff are trained in early years education and follow national frameworks like the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in England.
